Justasic is back, sort of

Well I am reinstating myself as Lead Developer of Flux-Net for a few reasons:

  • Lordofsraam isn’t even in contact with the network and therefore has NOT been working on any of the projects.
  • School isn’t as bad as I was expecting when the Click to read more!

Navn version 2.0.0 release

Well after a LOT of work from Justasic and some work from Lordofsraam, Navn now has a SendMessage class used for sending messages, it now recognizes when its own nickname changes, it has a module class (thanks to lordofsraam), the modules system has its own module which lists modules, and much Click to read more!

Flux-Net now hosts CIA.vc?

Well while we do not own the domain name (the atheme project does), we are hosting the source code. Currently I (Justasic) have spent almost 2 months getting the old code working with little documentation, a virtual machine, and some knowledge in python. You can Click to read more!

The bot has been coming along quite nicely thanks to lordofsraam being able to add various algorythems to the code allowing us to do things such as google text from IRC, almost another IRC service with pre-defined informational replies, signal Click to read more!

C++ IRC Bot

Well as most in IRC know, Me and Lordofsraam have been working on a C++ IRC bot (possibly named Navn). This bot currently is a simple socket program (hopefully we can make it modular) with a few commands:

!time <-- displays the current time for many timezones
!quit [pass] <-- quits Click to read more!

Programmers

Well as most of us in IRC are aware of, I am currently the only coder/programmer who has actually made most of our custom scripts. Now I would like to start a Development team which would be capable of developing many things in many languages (mainly C++ and PHP/HTML). Recently I have come across Click to read more!

Network Upgrades

Well as many of us connected users to IRC have seen, there have been a lot of netsplits lately. This is due to the fact that the main servers have upgraded to InspIRCd 2.0. After recently learning that UnrealIRCd was very old and kind of lacking in very useful features and the fact that it Click to read more!
